Harbour Kitchens -Another Helping is not only a must-have for your bookshelf, but it helps the Lyttelton Education Charitable Trust to support the schools and youth facilities at the heart of Lyttelton and northern bays communities.

Why we’ve revisited
Harbour Kitchens

Lyttelton Primary School was looking forward to hosting its biennial Peninsula Art Auction in 2021 but, in the time of Covid-19, revisiting our treasured cookbook seemed a tastier idea. Peninsula Art Auction will return in 2022.

So instead we have been on the hunt to gather the community’s best recipes, its talented foodies, the most photogenic locations and some more cracking stories of local life.

Harbour Kitchens wants to reflect everyone who lives or works in Lyttelton and the northern bays and capture the eclectic character that makes our town so special.

Old and new, achingly hip and endearingly daggy, homemade and haute cuisine, we've captured it all in this updated cookbook telling the story of food, connection and community.

The book is now available to buy online with collection from Lyttelton Primary School (term time only) or shipping throughout New Zealand.

The book can be purchased in Lyttelton from Henry Trading, Leslie's Bookshop, Lyttelton Picture Framing, London Street Bookshop & Eruption Brewing.
